Everything went well, Kelly was so good. The delivery took about 20 minutes and Kelly looked like she was ready to go home about 30 minutes after that.

Baby Shower!

Getting close to baby time! Kelly's mom and sisters threw her a shower. They really did a great job. The house would not have been my first choice to hold the event but they decorated and brought a ton of food. A big thanks to my mother and sister's in law. The men had to leave (except for Quinn) so the pictures will have speak for themselves. By the time I got back it looked like pink had exploded all over the house.

Packwood Snow

So we had a week of snow and none to play in, time to go to Packwood. kelly's family has a cabin so we met them up there for the weekend. lots and lots of Snow. Q had a blast and i got to hit him and Kelly with snow balls. Q's aunt Courtney was there to chaperon she also got to be Q's hot tub lifeguard Finally some snow fun! Quinn's first snow ball fight, first snow ball eaten, first sledding accident and first hot tub. i would have to say it was a success!

My Cheese Burger!

Kelly and I both said we wouldn't take our kid to any crappy fast food. Nope, we were not going to put that nasty stuff in our kid. The hell with that! it was a proud moment when Quinn told me he wanted a cheeseburger, from McDonald's. Off to McDonald's we went. One Happy Meal for Quinn and two cheeseburgers for me. Quinn eats his burger and fries like a champ. I ate one of my burgers and decided that was enough. I was going to save it for later. I turned around from washing my hands and Quinn has half my burger in his mouth. Asked him what he was doing and he yelled "My Cheeseburger!" like a CaveMan claiming his kill. I guess i should feel guilty but look how much he loves his cheeseburger.

Since Quinn has a pre-disposition for wrestling and tackling Kelly thought it would be a good idea to teach him how to throw punches. I am sure other parents will love to invite over the kid who tackles and punches in the face. Anyone want to schedule a play date?

Poor Ruby

Ruby was neutered yesterday and we just got her back from the vets. She is a very nice puppy totally spastic and the the Doggie equivalent of ADHD. Quinn is really attached to her and they play pretty well together. This is the first photo i have published of her mostly because she has never been this still before. We told quinn she will be back bouncing off the walls in a couple of days. Quinn said "Poor Ruby got owiee"

Forced Top Ten List

Fine here is my forced with 5 minutes of thought top ten list in no particular order.

1. Food; i had to go with one generic food listing or 8 of the 10 would have been food related. basically Thai, Indian, BBQ and Breakfast and in that order. Sometimes Thai and Indian will switch and sometimes BBQ and Breakfast will switch.

2.Family; This thanksgiving to Christmas time was outstanding. it seemed every week we had a brunch or dinner or something going on with some family member somewhere. brunch at Milli's, dinner with Gary and Mary, shopping with Mom and Renee. i know it was stressful on some of you but for me it is fun. waking up at 4:00 to bake and prep is just part of the holiday bliss!

3. I am a Dad! i can't even begin to explain how much i love being Dad. when i get home at night Quinn's face light up as he yells DAAADDY HOME!, it makes everything worthwhile. Seeing things through his eyes as he discoverers the world, watching Quinn as he explores, conducts physics and chemistry experiments. yes Quinn gravity does affect you and your things. best thing i have ever done, if i knew it was gonna be this much fun i would have claimed all those other kids a long time ago.

4. My Wife. there was a time (long long time ago) i would have never thought being a husband would have ever made my top ten. Thanks Kelly you have help me become a better person. ( i had to put this one in cus she has my family jewels in a lock box)

5.Quiet House. Sure it does not happen very much and i am glad it doesn't BUT when it does happen it is soooooo nice!

6.New Whitey Tightie's. what can i say somethings go without needing an explanation. i will load a picture when i can get Kelly to take one. then you can all see what i mean.

7. Video Games. oldie but a goodie. i don't have a lot of time for this anymore but nothing satisfies like shooting a teenager in the face with your computer shotgun. currently i like DOD, Half life 2 and World of Conflict. and it needs to be stated that POGO is from the devil. only 13 year old's, pedophiles and my sister currently play POGO. Larisa why do you support pedophiles?

8. My New Sweater. i got a sweater for Christmas from Kelly's mom. it is made by Geoffry somebody, don't know him but it is the perfect sweater. maybe it is more like a pull over jacket. i am calling it my SUJ (sport utility jacket). i wore about 6 days in a row, i only took it off because Kelly told me i would wear it out if i didn't. Hey Milli where did you get it and who is this Geoff guy?

9. Saturday Mornings. wake up early, have coffee, watch some TV news or sportscenter. house is quite. Quinn wakes up we have Breakfast, play a little bit, get dressed, get the dog and head out to the park. does it get any better? i don't know, but it is best to get to the park early, that way you don't have to pick up the dog or son droppings when they happen.

10. Global Warming. that's right i love global warming. i have no hair but i use hairspray everyday. sometimes i just start the car for the fun of it and leave it on all night. i eat beef and keep my house temperature in the low 80's. i have bought 25 years worth of incandescent lights and destroyed every fluorescent light in the house. why do you ask? because the tears of ecodorks taste like honey and cures cancer. "but but but your killing penguins" good bye penguins, i always thought you were the worst bat man villain anyway.

so there you go my top ten. next week will be the top ten hates. i am sure it will be way more entertaining.

Christmas at the McIntires

Christmas at our house was fun. We had lots of Family, lots of food, lots of presents. Quinn made out like a Bandit and Ella was a big help. We started the day off with an outstanding breakfast at Kellys moms. I made a quiche that was amazing, kari's words not mine, and Milli had a breakfast spread that was very hard not to binge on. OK yes i did binge. We loaded up all of our booty and headed home. Larisa made a ham and cheesy potato's and I BBQ'ed a turkey. there was 7 pies and far too much food and booze. My little sister Renee, mom and Claude, Grandma, Kellys Dad, Grandma and Al, Larisa, Chuck, Kari, Ella, and Quinn. We even had uncle Robert and Aunt Cindy stop by, they said they were not hungry but i saw them make at least two trips thru the buffet. Things were starting to get festive, people were getting loud with food and drink, then it started to snow. The house emptied in record time. One minute we had a house full of people, the next we had a ton of dishes and left overs. Snow doesn't scare me i just kept eating and drinking. Big shout out to all of you that brought me booze for Christmas. What do you get the guy that has everything? Wahoo! Booze!

Santa was fun this year, Quinn really was digging Santa. There were two other children that were having complete flipouts about Santas lap. Quinn look at them like they were crazy. i mean come on you sit on the big guys lab and you get candy. i was cool with Santa too; you cant see it but me and Santa are holding hands and playing grab ass. Pssst Santa, i have been really good could you bring me lots of Christmas Booze and an Xbox?
